You're completely right - message ID handling is now moved out into the maildrop daemon itself. It will be in release 1.19, or you can get it from Subversion now. |

| If the functionality of ADD_MESSAGEID was moved to the maildrop.py script then whatever slowness this introduces would not be quite as painful. (The Zope transaction involved in original generation of the email would not get hit by the speed plenty.) |
