LDAP Role Extender

The LDAP Role Extender is a "fake" user folder that works in conjunction with an existing LDAP User Folder. It is written for Zope versions 2.4.0 and higher. Its purpose is to be dropped in a place of the tree, take user information from a LDAP User Folder and extend role information on the user by considering LDAP group membership in an additional groups search base defined in the LDAP Role Extender configuration. This allows for centralized LDAP configurations with specific user role adjustments depending on the user's location on the site.

Note: This software has been officially deprecated. It has been replaced by the LDAPUserSatellite, which is part of the LDAPUserFolder package starting with version 1.6beta2.

This software is provided under a license. Please see LICENSE.txt for the details of this license.
